Invasion Day 2022

Aj is a proud indigenous woman and educator.

You would have heard our invasion day conversation this time last year.

Seeing as we are here again and the date still hasn't changed - we still have much more to discuss and educate ourselves.

I have asked Aj what she feels has progressed since last year, about the BLM movement and if the black tiles meant anything.

As well as children still being stolen, deaths in custody and how Australia is still a racist nation.

The Deep acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we work and live, and recognise their continuing connection to land, water and community. We pay respect to Elders past, present and emerging.
