Black pepper beef/chicken or tofu stir-fry recipe
Something for you to prepare at home and enjoy over the long weekend. Great for simultaneously helping you recover (high in protein) AND burn fat (CLA, coconut oil, fibre). Fillet beef, chicken or tofu cubes/strips in a stir-fry produces meat that is tender and takes only minutes to cook. Use black pepper sauce and light soya sauce.
No additional salt is necessary. Then combine with vegetables of your choice. Here I've used mushrooms and broccoli. (You can substitute with bok choy, capsicum, or snow peas.)
- 1 teaspoon coconut oil
- 40 grams onion
- 20 grams garlic
- 100 grams beef, chicken or tofu
- 1 tablespoon black pepper sauce
- 1 tsp light soya sauce
- 80 grams mushroom
- 150 grams broccoli
Heat oil in a non-stick frying pan or wok over medium heat. Add onion and garlic, and fry for 15 to 20 seconds. Add the beef, chicken or tofu, black pepper sauce and light soya sauce, and fry for 1 minute.
Add the mushroom and fry for 3 more minutes, tossing until well mixed. Remove from heat.
Add steamed broccoli as a side. Don't fry the broccoli as this will destroy its nutrients.
