KYW - Law of attraction
GETTING TO KNOW YOUR WORTHHow many hours of the day do we think negative thoughts about ourselves, others or life in general? I know I do it sometimes, I'm sure you do it too. Thoughts create things. I am inspired by the "Lawofattraction". In fact it has changed my life. The first I had heard about it was from my mum. It was 2005 maybe 2006 and she was dying of cancer. The Secret had been released and the word was rapidly spreading. I was moved by the movie even though some of the re-enactments where incredibly corny and I decided to put some of their methods into practise. Soon after I watched that movie with my mum she died. I have never been so heart broken in my life. But the worst was yet to come. Shortly after her death my world was rocked by 3 years of devastating loss, betrayal and abuse. I had lost my mother, one side of my family and myself (that is another story).I went back to the secret and wanted to deepen my understanding. I read books by Louise Hay, Wayne Dyer, Marianne Williamson and I truly believed it shifted the way I looked at the world. After all of that bad stuff. I had hit rock bottom, I was alone, depressed and even questioned; should I bother to live?I had lost everything. I put on weight, I had drifted from my friends. I had no confidence. No Job. Who was this person? Was I going to let the past make my better or bitter?I decided to slowly, shift my way of thinking. First about myself.I had to believe I was worthy again. Worth having a good life. A good boyfriend. A good group of family and friends. I had to learn to trust myself, that I could protect myself if ever I needed. For the next few days I will share the steps on this blog that got me to my (now) very happy life.FIRST AND CRUCIAL POINT- CUT OUT ANY TOXIC PEOPLE OR THINGS.This includes all people that are bad for you. If they are abusive in anyway. Mental, Physical, emotional. You know who they are, they may put you down or are generally negative. You need space to get yourself on top and toxic people have to go.Also cutting out bad behaviours that keeps you trapped.1. Smoking2. Drinking3. Drugs4. Being promiscuous5. Making your self overly busy so you have no time to actually focus and feel where you are or what your going through.1. You need to be extremely gentle on yourself. You will grieve.2. Give yourself time.3. Surround yourself with wonderful people.4. Watch HAPPY movies,5. Listen to feel GOOD songs.6. Dance.7. Eat food that nourishes you.8. Exercise and get the endorphins pumping (plus it will make you proud of yourself for getting out of bed/off the couch and moving).9. Sing.10. Sit in the park and watch the dogs play.. Anything that makes you smile...... In the next blog, I will continue the next step....
